About the Museum of Broken Relationships
Every object exhibited in the Museum of Broken Relationships has its own story that is prominent to it. Some items are bizarre, like a rubber apron with huge chests at the front for which the girl wrote that she had to wear during sex with the former partner. Some of the stories are tragic and sad, like a red lamp for a dog’s necklace that a boyfriend has been sent out of after a heavy break, so that he does not lose in the dark. As he writes, the former committed suicide somewhat later in the hotel room, and the owner of the item asked him to light at the exhibition as the blinking option he has remembers of knocking the heart.
Exhibiton will take you back to past emotions as you read the stories written by their owners.
International exhibitions
It is located in the beautiful baroque Kulmer palace in the Upper Town that is a historical part of Zagreb. Conceptualised by Olinka Vištica and Dražen Grubišić, the Museum has toured internationally, promoting Zagreb with amazing collection.

Every day 9:00-22:30.
Winter (October 1st – May 31st):
Every day 9:00-21:00
Closed on Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter and All Saints’ Day, on December 24th and 31st open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
